Originally from Eunice, Louisiana, Dr. Anastatia Simien is a long-time resident of Lafayette, LA and graduate of Northside High School. She obtained her B.S in Biology with a minor in Sociology from LSU in Baton Rouge, LA going on to earn her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from LSU School of Dentistry in New Orleans, LA. She began her career as a dentist in the U.S. Virgin Islands, restoring smiles after the devastating effects of Hurricanes Irma and Maria in 2017. Upon returning to Louisiana, she committed her efforts to providing high quality dental care with a compassionate and soothing approach in public health care facilities and school-based programs. Complete smile transformations later became a focus and took a special place in her heart as her patients expressed life changing experiences after receiving their brand-new smiles. It brings her immense joy to see patients blossom with confidence, go on to fully embracing themselves, become more outgoing and willing to go after what they always wanted in life. All because of a smile!

Most of the population carries a deeply embedded fear of going to the dentist, resulting in hesitation to seek preventative oral health care services. The delay of preventative treatment only leads to more severe dental complications with higher financial repercussions as the issues become more extensive and expensive to treat.
